Grace Church Manchester

Sundays, 10.00am-12.00pm at the Manchester Bridge Club, Withington

Grace Church Manchester aims to be a gospel-centred church for Withington. Within the Plant network of churches, we have a particular focus on serving families and internationals, as well as reaching our local area of Withington and the student community. The church is led by Mike and Melissa Tindall, who have five children. Grace Church meetings start with a light breakfast, and we provide a Kids’ Club and nursery for young children.

Members of Grace Church also meet up regularly in home-groups of between six and a dozen people for Bible study, prayer, fellowship and mutual support.

We meet at the Manchester Bridge Club, 30 Palatine Road, Withington, Manchester, M20 3JJ

Public Transport

We are well served by buses from the city centre, up Oxford/Wilmslow Road towards Withington. The 41 or 43 all go up Palatine Road, press the button to get off as the road forks into Palatine Road and Wilmslow Road (see on the map below). You'll then see us a short walk up the road on the opposite side of the road (you'll see the Grace Church Manchester Plant signs like in the photo top right). You can also get the 42 or 142 and again press the button as the road forks into Palatine Road and Wilmslow Road. However, you'll then need to walk a little further up the road, turn right onto Marriott Street, and left onto Palatine Road, we're then a short walk up Palatine Road on the right. See the map above.

Or from Didsbury, catch any bus heading towards the city centre, then if you go up Palatine Road you'll see us on the left. Or if the bus goes up Wilmslow Road, press the button to get off when you see the Christie Hospital on your left. Then walk past the hospital in the direction the bus was going, turn left onto Tatton Grove, and left onto Palatine Road and you'll see us on the other side of the road.

You can zoom in on the map above to see the bus stops.

THE PLANT CHURCHES

During my time at University The Plant has played a major role in my spiritual growth, transforming me from a very young Christian, to someone who really treasures all that Jesus has done for me. Again and again, I'm encouraged by the Bible teaching, spiritual support, and family feeling I get here every week. The Plant is truly awesome.
