Living Word, Salford
Sundays, 4.00pm-6.00pm at the Angel Centre, Salford
Living Word, The Plant church in Salford, is an independent church proclaiming Biblical truths in contemporary ways. We have a particular focus on young families, professionals and students but welcome anyone. Our church was started in 2006 as The Plant church in Salford. The Plant is a network of churches that work closely together with the aim of growing loving churches throughout Greater Manchester.
Our meetings are informal and friendly and always involve light refreshments. We include all the things you might expect of a church service, but we sit around small tables and try to make everything accessible for those not used to church.
Directions
Our church meets on Sunday afternoons in the cafe of The Angel Healthy Living Centre, Salford, M3 6FA. This is on the corner of Chapel Street and St Philips Place. It's very close to Salford University's Peel Park campus and Salford Crescent train station. If you walk from the Maxwell building (the large building located on the Crescent with the giant University of Salford logo) along the Crescent towards Manchester, you'll pass the Old Pint Pot on your left, and in a couple of minutes will reach the Angel Centre on your left as you find yourself at St Philips Place.
Leadership
Living Word is led by our elder Phil Keymer, who trained at the Cornhill Training Course and Oak Hill Theological College in London and was a Church of England minister before cofounding The Plant in 2004. Every member of Living Word gets involved in the practical running of our church, assisted by our team of deacons.

THE PLANT CHURCHES
Interview with Dot, Grace Church Manchester
I like the fact that we share breakfast before the service and often lunch together afterwards as well, which is what any family should do.
