Although most of the people who come to The Plant are in their 20s or 30s, we aim to offer a warm welcome to anyone from any background. You're very welcome to come and join us whether you'd call yourself a Christian or not - we're here to help people get to know Jesus Christ or to get to know him better.
The Christians who come regularly to one of The Plant's meetings and have committed themselves to making 'their church' sign up as Plant Members. This involves signing up to a basic Christian 'doctrinal basis'.
We welcome all people from overseas, be they students, refugees or whoever. While in Britain, many international students make the most of the opportunity to find out about Christianity. We'd love to help you do that, and people who struggle a bit with English have told us that our meetings are easy to follow!
The Plant also recommends the work of Friends International. To find out more about this organisation's activity in Manchester, click here.
See our Kids' Club page!
You don't have to be a Christian to be involved at The Plant, and anyone who regularly attends one of The Plant's churches is encouraged to become a Friend of The Plant so we can keep you up-to-date and involved in Plant life.
Some Plant members are involved in full-time Christian work with organisations other than The Plant, and some have left us to serve Christ elsewhere, often overseas. You can read about some of our Mission Partners here.
We are very greatful for the many Christian people who support The Plant even though they aren't members of our churches. These Plant Supporters (some of whom are former members who have moved away) regularly pray for us and many have helped us out practically, and financially too.
